Tuesday's Top Tip / by Joseph Donzis

You're at your shoot while unpacking your equipment when you realize your flash is broken, you forgot to pack it, or the batteries have died- what do you do?  Grab the nearest semi-rigid white object and use that to bounce your built in flash!  Using your camera's flash directly will flatten out your subjects and make your pictures look amateur but bouncing your flash will help create more depth and a more professional look.  If you have white business cards, use those, but don't ever use your hand to bounce the flash!  It'll create very unappealing and often creepy tones.
